The flat slick is designed for working large surfaces for flattening. With a single bevel to be used face down to the wood, the flat slick is great for getting into those hard to reach spaces on large works. The handle is a handspun garry oak hardwood that measures 16 inches long with a copper collar to help hold the blade in. THESE ARE NOT DESIGNED TO HIT WITH A HAMMER. This is 19 inches long in the handle with a 2 inches wide blade.
